IDEAS FOR PLAYING

  • Take turns pulling a disc out of the bag and have fun searching for the item(s).
  • For large groups, place all discs image-side down and let each child select a disc. Once they find their item, they swap the disc with their friend and search for a new item.
  • Lay all discs out and work cooperatively to find all of the items.
  • Practice sounding out and reading the words engraved on the discs.
  • Uncooperative weather or not near a forest? Use the disc set as story starters or prompts for writing or drawing! 
  • Use your imagination and create your own games!
